I will admit I judged a book by its cover and thought the place was a dive. Then I made it inside with my girlfriend and I was welcomed with a experience that I can't describe with words. The people were super nice and the food was awesome. Best battered mushrooms I've had since the doll house in Kitchener closed. My girl loves the playing pool and seeing the smile on her face made my night. Would definitely recommend.
Great place for an afternoon with the ladies. Our bartender was warm, friendly and witty. We had our hearts set in drinks with umbrellas but unfortunately they didn’t have. However she did upgrade our drinks to include limes FOR FREE! This is a 10/10 experience you don’t wanna miss !
Great atmosphere with a small town feel. The servers are awesome. The owner interacts with the customers in a kind social manner. It has a hometown hang out comfort. Getting to see the locals and socialize with them is great.
Great place if you like to play pool, darts, and sing karaoke. Reasonably priced food and almost everyday having specials I recommend the deep fried pickles or chicken wings. Not many selections of beer only 2 or 3 on tap. Then whatever they have in bottles. Staff is great at keeping everything safe and fun.
Simply the best bar in Cambridge. I have never had a single issue here and as someone who used to peruse that strip frequently when I was younger I always ended up at Sides. Sit back, enjoy a ‘fu/k my life special’ and have a laugh watching Karaoke on a Friday or Saturday. Weekly pool tournaments keep this place steady through the week, and their double-battered fries never miss after some shots. It can seem a little intimidating at first but Sides has nothing but the best to offer. Always find myself talking with the regulars and they’re, the best people. So kind, been around for ages and always down for a chat. Sidelines has been a huge part of my own life, and I’d like to say this community. If you’re ever in the area, skip the Fiddle and just head hear for a fantastic time.
The bartender is really nice and she serviced our nachos really quick. The nacho's salsa, sour cream tasted really great plus the nachos also tasted fresh and warm. The pool was great too and that's we always come for
Great bar, great service. The size is bigger than I expected, the music and Kareoke was fun. It was my 1st time there and Im looking forward to going again. I've been back a couple times now. It's a good bar, makes excellent battered mushrooms and loved the long toothpick to eat them with! A bottled water is pricey at 3 a bottle but the food was good, music was great and it's well taken care of. I hope one day to play a game of pool and see how the tables are.
